The magnificent central entertainment area consists of a welcoming lounge with fire place. Separate dining area with easy access to the functional and well planned kitchen with central work area. A small desk, pushed against a wall when not in use, could double as a reception area. A guest toilet is tucked away behind the curved modern stone wall. The separate scullery and laundry area sits unobtrusively off the kitchen. A rim flow pool and boma area, as well as a built-in, under cover outside braai area brings it all together. Extensive, high class wooden decks complete the picture.
The guest suites total 4, sleeping 8 guests. Only the best finishes have been used and the owners have lovingly done the construction themselves. Each chalet has its own private deck, set in amongst the trees and just above the river.
An option exists to increase the number of guests suites.
Because of its position in relation to Hoespruit, the Kruger National Park, the Blyde River Canyon area, the Panorama Route and various other places of interest, this is an ideal spot to welcome guests. It could be used as a base from which to explore. Some exciting walks leave from the lodge and one can explore the large variety of trees, birds and fish as well as take in the magnificence of the mountains. Relaxing is also OK!
This could also be an ideal function venue for weddings, 21st parties, wedding anniversary celebrations and small conferences. The well equipped kitchen could easily cater for any of these functions.
A well-constructed cement causeway gives permanent access to the lodge.
