“Strange” 3 bedroom house Raptors View

Known as the “Strange” 3 bedroom house Raptors View“, it has been an amazing home and features exactly what I had in mind when I designed it.

This “Strange” 3 bedroom house Raptors View was built in such a way as to create additional spaces within the normal family size home.

In addition, I designed it to be narrow but maximise the allowable height for Raptors View Wildlife Estate. This means that at no time is it necessary to switch on lights during the day.

Large sliding windows and doors add to the flow of air and light.

3 bedrooms.
(The main bedroom is en suite and is carpeted with pure wool carpet. I just love it).
Second bathroom is shared by the other two bedrooms.
Open plan living area with sliding doors to undercover patio.
A TV area.
A separate study or craft room.
Kitchen and separate scullery both have expensive granite tops.
Single carport as well as two lockable storerooms.
Outside shower features dragonfly mosaic with amazing views.
Rock garden entrance to stepping stone pathway.
Pool and natural boma area.
Undercover patio.

My home is set back from the road and has a knob thorn thicket screening it – even in winter. Because of being on a raised stand, the mountain views are amazing.

The Hoedspruit community has grown tremendously in the last 16 years that I have been here. Friendly, caring, and welcoming.

I am incredibly happy in my home but it is time to move on.
