Klaserie Private Nature Reserve

Klaserie – The name is derived from the river flowing through the area. The Klaserie river joins the meandering Olifants, which flows through the Kruger National Park on its way to the Mozambique coast.

Klaserie Private Nature Reserve is an area of more than 65 000 ha owned by individuals, in partnerships, trusts or companies. Open to the Kruger National Park, Klaserie enjoys free movement of game including large herds of buffalo. The other Big 4, as well as all game found in Kruger move freely through the area. The variety of birds, plants and trees is amazing.

Klaserie Private Nature Reserve is one of the most sought-after game areas being open further to Umbabat, Timbavati, as well as to the Balule Reserves. A Warden oversees the area and upholds a strict code of ethics thereby ensuring that the area remains as undisturbed as possible and that all owners ultimately benefit.

Share Option

Nearly 1300 hectares of some of the best game viewing available. Open to the Kruger National Park. This farm is owned by three shareholders. One of the shareholders never uses the camp. The other visits infrequently. One of the three shareholders (being c.c. registered) has listed a 25% share for sale. This could be the opportunity you have been waiting for to get involved in Klaserie. As this is a sale of shares, no transfer fees will apply.

The farm has Eskom power and a reliable borehole, a gravel airstrip, lookout tower, 2 dams and lots of game constantly moving through. A rustic but comfortable camp ensures respite during the heat of the day and a good night’s rest after the exciting game viewing experiences. The camp consists of 4 bungalows, separate bathroom, toilet and pantry/kitchen, as well as a lapa where most meals are enjoyed. In addition, a raised platform under thatch offers additional sleeping space to the more adventurous.

Very low monthly costs contribute to the camp guard’s salary, rations, servicing of equipment and the game viewer when necessary. Monthly costs amount to about R600 a month.

Another owner within this share may also be willing to sell. This would give you a 50% of this third share.

PRICE: R4.3M
