Lissataba Nature Reserve Hoedspruit Limpopo

Lissataba translated means “A view of the Mountain.”

Lissataba Nature Reserve Hoedspruit Limpopo consists of only 52 sites in exclusive area of just over 2500 ha.

The homes are built for privacy. No commercial lodges. Close to the Kruger National park and about 65 kms from Hoedspruit. Lissataba is a shareblock development but application has been done for individual title.

Lissataba is one of those unique places where the owners absolutely love the quietness. Your friends and family will love the idea that there are no commercial lodges and that the homes are built for privacy, tucked behind large rocky outcrops or slightly over a rise and out of view.

The advantage of Lissataba Nature Reserve Hoedspruit Limpopo is that one can truly get close to nature, exploring on foot or on your bicycle along the winding network of tracks. You will be surprised what a different experience this can offer. Stop off at any of the picnic spots, lookouts or the hide for coffee and rusks or to enjoy a sundower. A 4 x 4 vehicle is preferable when exploring. The four dams are kept full and offer a great bird watching experience.

Lissataba Nature Reserve is part of the Blyde Olifants conservancy.

The bulding sites have been restricted to a small area of the farm and have 16 river and 38 bush sites. You wont see any overhead wires or water pipes – these have all been installed underground. Owners pay a monthly levy of R3500. This covers admin., fencing, security, and game management.

Situated at the admin centre you will find a clubhouse with TV, Bar, swimming pool and pool table. Relax and read or socialise with the other owners. A good place to meet and enjoy a braai together.

Game at Lissataba Nature Reserve includes pangolin, aardvark, giraffe, hippo, eland, white rhino, impala, kudu, waterbuck, zebra, Nyala, wildebeest, zebras, bushbuck, klipspringer, warthog, bushpig, duiker, grysbok, hyena, leopard, civet, cheetah, genet, porcupine, badger, wildcat and crocodile.

A nice selection of bushveld trees.

Although a bit out of Hoedspruit, Lissataba Nature Reserve Hoedspruit Limpopo is well worth the drive for the extra privacy and seclusion.

I currently have two properties for sale: No Fuss Home and Unique home.
